Little Sprouts Discovery Center Non-Profit, Inc. is a privately owned group licensed child care program offering services to children and their families from surrounding communities including but not limited to Redgranite, Spring Lake, Wautoma, Berlin, Poy Sippi, Pine River, Neshkoro and Wild Rose.
Little Sprouts Discovery Center Non-Profit, Inc. was originally opened as Good Kids Daycare Center, in the fall of 2001. With support from the Wisconsin Childcare Improvement Project, Mid-Wisconsin Childcare Resource & Referral, Village of Redgranite and local community members, a private contractor took on the project to create the first group childcare center in Redgranite. In 2003, the ownership of the property changed and the center then became Little Sprouts Discovery Center. In 2010 the program began exploration to become a non profit, establishing a board and applying for tax exempt status. Granted non profit status in February 2011, the program made aggressive efforts to become a community collaborative program. The program is continually striving to offer high quality and be a center of excellence in Waushara County.

Krista Sobieski, director of the facility knows first hand the importance of finding quality childcare, “as a mother of four, I want to be sure my children are in a safe environment, and if I can trust that they are, then I know that other peoples children are too.” Sobieski, who has been working in the early childhood education field since 1994, finds that offering daycare in rural areas can have challenges, but in return finds that satisfied customers are the key to any successful program.
“Childcare is a unique business in it’s entirety from the licensing rules, staffing requirements, down to the warmth of providing genuine loving care to children. The uniqueness has to be respected by those working in the field as well as those bringing children into a group center. If that can happen, and there is open lines of communication, group daycare will be a very wonderful experience for children and their families.”

Little Sprouts Discovery Center Non-Profit, Inc. takes pride in offering services in a small community and finds that building a positive relationship with children and their families has been the key to providing a welcoming environment.
We believe every child deserves the highest quality of care and instruction. Each child is an individual and shall be treated with respect. Your children's early experiences affect how they perceive the world though their lives. Therefore, our purpose is to provide a positive, safe and loving environment where children can grow and learn at their own pace.
